There's geometry data (the number of cylinders, tracks, sectors and more). Like pointers to your various drive types, manufacturers, serial numbers and controllers. What you actually get is much, much more. To take an example, when you launch the program you'll see a button called Volumes, and so you might think this would lead to a screen that lists your PCs drives, their free space and so on. ![]() I would review all relevant settings.SIV is an extremely comprehensive system information tool that tells you everything you could ever want to know about your PC. It's hard to tell why you can't change to manual. Gone are the days where you have to set voltages manually. So what? With auto voltage you can use automatic OC of BIOS and it can get up to 5.2 with Core 9000 series. Everything is just stuck on auto in the BIOS. But I cant find a way to take things like Vcore voltage or frequency off of Auto. I managed to find some fan controls in the "easy version" of the BIOS. I was so frustrated I just did a system restore to that morning to nuke them, It also took ages to begin the download from their webpage. One was running in task manager but was seemingly nowhere. ![]() Neither of the programs showed up in my add/remove programs after instal, or a search on my computer. The folders were there, but every time I tried to open the application from those folders it would just pop up with a weird update message that lead to nowhere. So, there is no Gigabyte folder in 'Program Files' in your case? Nothing? It installs but it's not there? SIV (System Information Viewer) is for fan control.
